Six months after it was raided by Homeland Security agents as part of an alleged sex trafficking investigation, Diddy’s LA mansion has officially been listed for sale. The asking price?
$61.5 million.
Diddy bought the 17,000-square-foot palace exactly a decade ago, in September 2014, for $39 million. The home features ten bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, and plenty of amenities like a 35-seat movie theater, a wine room, a gym, a lagoon-style swimming pool complete with an underwater tunnel, and a basketball half-court. There’s also a separate 3,000-square-foot guest house on the property. Here is a photo that was taken from above around the time of the police raid:

Real estate records show that Diddy has taken out $25.35 million worth of mortgages over two transactions. As you might have guessed, he took out the first mortgage at the time of purchase back in 2014. He took out a second mortgage for some reason in 2021. Or he might have refinanced the 2014 mortgage at that point and it just appears to be a second mortgage. The records aren’t perfectly clear.
Perhaps understandably, Diddy is probably looking to move away from this property after it was raided in March 2024 by dozens of armed federal agents. Diddy was in Florida at the time of the raid, but his two adult sons were at the LA home. The sons reportedly later told their father that they had sniper laser points on their bodies as they emerged from the home with their hands up. The agents reportedly caused significant damage to some parts of the home.
Since 2003, Diddy’s primary residence has been a property on an exclusive island in Miami. In 2003, he paid $14.5 million for a 9-bedroom waterfront mansion on Miami’s Star Island. The seller was music mogul Tommy Mottola. In August 2021, Diddy paid $35 million for the 1.3-acre property right next door. The seller, in this case, was singer Gloria Estefan. This second purchase gave Diddy an additional 240 feet of oceanfrontage.
